There are so many things that can be done to throw a fantastic party while being environmentally aware without skimping on beauty, design or function. Quite honestly "going green" when it comes to a wedding or event the outcome is often more beautiful, original and cost efficient than not. We can show you how to have an event you can feel good about, that your guests will be impressed with and that won't break the bank. We know that it is important to have what you want to make the day special so if something you want doesn't fit into the green scheme of things, have no fear, we promise to make it work and make it the best event possible.
Some things we can do to help create a sustainable or green event:
- Donate leftover food and/or flowers.
- Recommend vendors who use organic products including stylists, rings, etc.
- Eco-friendly save-the-dates, invitations, place cards and programs.
- Recycle and/or compost waste.
- Serve organic and/or locally grown food.
- Serve organic and/or local wines.
- Decorate with organic and/or locally grown flowers and plants.
- Hold your ceremony and event at either the same place or nearby to cut down vehicle emissions.
- Use sustainable decor items.
